Check-in was really easy — no long wait or confusion or anything. The staff were super friendly too, and they explained what we needed to do without making it feel rushed. Our group got sorted quickly, which was nice. It just felt organized... but still relaxed. A really good way to start the tour.

I booked through sonomacanopytours.com and expected to have to hunt around for details, but everything was laid out really clearly. I knew where to go, when to arrive, and what to wear without second-guessing it.

The confirmation emails matched what was on the site too, which was a nice surprise. I’ve had bookings before where the info doesn’t line up, so I was kind of bracing for that, but there wasn’t any confusion here.

At first I was feeling good about it and thought the rain prep was handled okay, but once the rain actually picked up, I got a little frustrated. It wasn’t terrible, just not as reliable as I hoped. I went from feeling prepared to kind of disappointed fast.

The photos from the tour turned out nice overall. A few were a little blurry, but I think it was mostly just bad timing with people moving around when the shots were taken.

I did feel really safe the whole time, which I appreciated. The guides checked our harnesses more than once, explained the braking in a way that actually made sense, and didn’t rush anyone. My nervous kid even relaxed after the first zip. That said, getting geared up and walking/climbing between parts took more effort than I was expecting, so I was definitely a little worn out by the end

I’m happy I went once for the views, but I don’t think it’s something I’d pay to do again.
